Looking to shake things up a bit after the new season starts. Will be listening to offers for any players on my roster. 1948 draft picks is what I will want in return, maybe 1949.
Especially since there's not many owners in here to trade with. I may just have to release them if I can sign some FAs to replace them. If not, I may just let their contracts expire and have my draft picks next season to use.
maybe you shouldnt have traded them all to Pernbronze

It's not like he got nothing for them. It was always win win trades. His issue IMO is lack of player retention and free agency effectiveness.

I'm having fun with this league, even with the lack of owners. But if I'm going to be restricted and told not to do certain things with my team, I can leave. I thought the name was "Anything Goes", not "Do What Your Told". I've gotten offers to join other leagues, but I have decided to stay here, but now I'm debating on staying or going now.

3) "anything goes" will not apply to trades. veto powers will be exercised in the case a trade is clearly detrimental to a teams future

I have to say I agree with Frank on this one. I agree the trades are not completely lopsided. There are some very talented players being traded for picks.
However, (1) there are a lot of trades between 2-3 teams (2) speed players drop like a rock in years 8+. Linemen and QBs have a longer shelf life. But if your getting high pick for them then the commish has every right to tap the brakes. (3) If I picked up a team that was without most of is picks (which I have experienced), them I would be very frustrated. (4) Yes, we all evaluate talent differently.
I don't frequently speak out. I did so because Frank was just saying what we're thinking. And Frank is doing what he can to keep this league going.
Hopefully we can go on from this and have a great season.
(I'm pretty tired so there are most likely typos. If so hopefully you can still follow my thoughts. I don't have the energy to proofread right now).

i get no joy out of vetoing trades.....just trying to uphold my duty as admin and keep everything balanced for all teams. team A trading all draft picks to team B is not balanced in my book even if the trades were balanced
there are times when my opinion of balanced will differ from others....that is unavoidable......."heavy is the crown" people say. people also say "it would take a fool to try to please everyone"
in the end i trust myself enough to make decisions that i believe are righteous...... regardless of what people say
