well can you tell me how to cancel the waiver claim request? I submitted 3 before I realized there was an issue. when I look at pending contracts there is no option to cancel it. If for some reason I land 1 of them I will cut immediately. sorry

if you click on players name to pop open their "card" you will see that "claim off waivers" button still exists. click on that and you will see there is an option to withdraw offer

if the dead cap is cleared but team has -37 mio ,how this team will get cutted players back ?

maybe it is not a glitch clearing dead money when a team has prime players so there is no need to clear. by clearing the franchise has no future dead money , due to prolonging prime player contracts , the team has now dead money in current season.

clearing dead money makes sense when the team has no prime players and is on bottom too. so you gain one/two season in rebuilding. otherwise you make a strong team more stronger.

only the game dev. can make a reset or players are lost. AI is signing like **** too.

okay. still communicating with the maker on how to resolve. thank you for your patience it seems we will be able to get everything back in order

what i learned is that the teams who are currently over the cap are indeed over the cap....those numbers are not a mistake. i ask that all owners please become familiar with the "resigning guide" which i just made sticky in the league forum.......or simply click on following link https://lol.myfootballnow.com/forums/4/250?page=1#1200

please do not ever use the renegotiation wizard, it will ruin your salary cap. in short, it should not exist

still am not sure what has happened here, but it seems that some owners took their teams over the cap without knowing that they have done so....either through unfamiliarity or not being properly notified........or both. and it did not become apparent until i cleared the caps of all teams

please understand that my intentions are to keep the league fair and balanced for all teams. this mess probably would have been avoided if i waited for off season to clear cap, but when a new owner arrived i cleared dead cap for the team and figured i would clear cap for all teams while i was at it. that is when the mess happened

at this time i am uncertain if the maker will be able to get the players on waiver wire back to their teams. if he cannot, i ask of you all - in the name of fairness and sportsmanship - to avoid claiming any players who were released by the Sin City Rollers or the Big Apple Biters. you can see if the players were on either of those teams by clicking on the players name to pop open the player "card" and looking to see which team drafted them

many of these players are young with high trade value........those teams would be ruined if the players were not returned

and if you are interested in becoming more familiar with the issue i am trying to tackle here check out the Hotlanta Rattlers https://agro.myfootballnow.com/team/29

we can see that they have not made a player transaction since week 2, yet they are now over the salary cap. the number in the "Room under cap" space on their team page did not reflect a negative until i clicked their 'Clear Dead Cap" button in week 15. they are in fact over the cap, but they have been since week 2 when they made their last transaction....so why didnt the "Room under cap" number reflect that until i cleared dead cap. they should have released a player back in week 2 to get under the cap

also, the program absolutely overcorrected the Biters and Rollers squads....those teams both have 93 million in cap space now....why so much? they only needed to release enough players to get back under the cap even if by one dollar

There's 2 problems with the don't resign idea. One is the AI teams will sign them. 2 they usually won't resign with teams that released or traded them for 3-5 seasons. The only way to get them back on their teams is via rollback a spin as far as I can see.

just took ownership of Sin City and it seems as though everything is normal when attempting to claim Robert Whitten. wasnt met with any messages about how he is angry with Sin City

not sure if it is same story for JB90 since he was owner when players were released

i will investigate

Yeah they get angry at the owner not the team itself if I remember correctly.

i think that players claimed off waivers dont have a choice? not sure

if i traded for a player who was angry with me it wouldnt matter then either, right?

I'm not sure. Just because it's forced can still have consequences. For example they still won't be able to resign them. It also could have consequences on play as well as other players happiness. Typically huge amounts of a roster aren't livid at an owner so I'm uncertain as to all the consequences even if they return to the team.
