okay. still communicating with the maker on how to resolve. thank you for your patience it seems we will be able to get everything back in order
what i learned is that the teams who are currently over the cap are indeed over the cap....those numbers are not a mistake.
i ask that all owners please become familiar with the "resigning guide" which i just made sticky in the league forum.......or simply click on following link https://lol.myfootballnow.com/forums/4/250?page=1#1200please do not ever use the renegotiation wizard, it will ruin your salary cap. in short, it should not existstill am not sure what has happened here, but it seems that some owners took their teams over the cap without knowing that they have done so....either through unfamiliarity or not being properly notified........or both. and it did not become apparent until i cleared the caps of all teams
please understand that my intentions are to keep the league fair and balanced for all teams. this mess probably would have been avoided if i waited for off season to clear cap, but when a new owner arrived i cleared dead cap for the team and figured i would clear cap for all teams while i was at it. that is when the mess happened
at this time i am uncertain if the maker will be able to get the players on waiver wire back to their teams. if he cannot, i ask of you all - in the name of fairness and sportsmanship - to
avoid claiming any players who were released by the Sin City Rollers or the Big Apple Biters. you can see if the players were on either of those teams by clicking on the players name to pop open the player "card" and looking to see which team drafted them
many of these players are young with high trade value........those teams would be ruined if the players were not returned
and if you are interested in becoming more familiar with the issue i am trying to tackle here check out the Hotlanta Rattlers
https://agro.myfootballnow.com/team/29we can see that they have not made a player transaction since week 2, yet they are now over the salary cap. the number in the "Room under cap" space on their team page did not reflect a negative until i clicked their 'Clear Dead Cap" button in week 15. they are in fact over the cap, but they have been since week 2 when they made their last transaction....so why didnt the "Room under cap" number reflect that until i cleared dead cap. they should have released a player back in week 2 to get under the cap
also, the program absolutely overcorrected the Biters and Rollers squads....those teams both have 93 million in cap space now....why so much? they only needed to release enough players to get back under the cap even if by one dollar
